ABOUT JEAN HAYES

Organizing has always been my life’s work. While others relax by biking, hiking, or skiing, I find peace in creating systems, turning overwhelmed spaces into calm ones, and making order out of chaos. It started in childhood, lining up my shoes, organizing my sister’s things, and bringing sanity to a chaotic home because organization was how I created peace. That instinct followed me into adulthood, leading me to study education and spend twelve years as an elementary teacher in Miami and Denver, where my planning and organizational skills helped make learning manageable for children. After moving northeast and starting a family, I spent fourteen years as a stay-at-home mom honing home-management systems to keep our busy lives running smoothly, while continuing to study parenting, design, house management, and organizing. Remodeling two homes deepened my understanding of time management and design, and helping friends and family—my first unofficial clients—confirmed what I had always known: this is my true passion and greatest talent. I know beginning can feel overwhelming or even paralyzing, but I can teach you how to get your time, your stuff, and your home under control, so you can experience the same peace and clarity that organization has always given me.
